Supported Merge Tags

Best Practices

  • Always use double curly braces: {{tag}}
  • Preview to check for proper rendering
  • Combine tags for personalized content: {{username}}, you’ve been invited to sign {{contractname}}.

Preview Options and Mobile Responsiveness

When editing your template, you can preview it for both Desktop and Mobile using the toggle at the top right of the builder:

This helps ensure your design looks great on all devices.

Using Columns for Responsive Design

  • Use 2-column layouts to place text beside an image on desktop.
  • On mobile, these columns automatically stack for vertical scrolling.
  • This makes it perfect for scenarios like:
    • Signature instructions beside a logo
    • Text content alongside a visual icon or graphic

Tip:

Use columns to control flow on large screens, while keeping it readable on small screens.

Preview and Save

  • Click Preview to view your design.
  • Use Update to save.
  • Use Undo Last Action if you need to revert.

Tips for Better Email Templates

  • Keep the tone professional but friendly
  • Use branding (logos, fonts, color)
  • Provide contact info or support options
  • Don’t delete essential placeholders unless necessary
