What to Do When You Receive a Document to Sign
When someone sends you a contract via SELISE Signature, signing it is simple, secure, and smooth.
When someone sends you a contract via SELISE Signature, signing it is simple, secure, and smooth. Whether it's your first time or you're a regular user, this step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the full experience.

You'll first get an email from SELISE Apps (apps@selise.io).
It will look something like this: Subject: "Contract Received - Document to Sign" Inside the email, you'll see a "Review Contract & Sign" or "Show Document" button.
Simply click the button to proceed.
Logging into SELISE Signature
After clicking the link, you'll land on the SELISE Signature Login Page.
- If you already have an account, simply enter your email and password.
- If you're new, click Sign Up and quickly create an account.
- You can also sign in with Google or Microsoft.
Note:
If the sender of the document has enabled the corresponding function in their account, there is no need to log in manually and the document to be edited appears immediately.
Once logged in, the document you were sent (it could be any type of contract or agreement) will open.

Review Document & Sign
It will automatically scroll you down to the signing area. You'll see a highlighted field labeled "Signature (Your Name)".
Click on the signature field to open the signing options.
When you click the signature field, a signature modal will appear. You have three options:
Option 1: Upload Your Signature
- Upload a PNG file (max 2MB) of your handwritten signature.
Option 2: Create Your Signature
- Draw your signature directly using a mouse, stylus, or finger.
Option 3: Type Your Signature
- Type your name and choose from stylish fonts.
Once ready, click "Use This" to insert your signature into the document.
Finalizing the Signing
After inserting your signature, the Finish button at the top becomes active.
- Click Finish.
- A confirmation popup will appear: "Are you sure you want to complete signing?"
- Click Confirm.
The system will then show "Signing is in progress..." while it securely saves your signature.
What Happens After Signing?
Once signing is completed:
- You’ll see a message: "You've signed the document."
- The document status remains Pending until all parties sign.
- You can View Audit Trail or Download Original Document at this stage.
- After everyone has signed, you’ll receive the final signed copy automatically.
