How to Change or Update Your Saved Signature

Want to change your signature? Whether you want to upload a new one, draw it, or type it — SELISE Signature makes it easy! In this guide, we’ll walk you through step-by-step — no technical skills needed. 

Step 1: Go to Your Signature Settings 

First, you need to go to the place where your saved signatures are stored. 

  1. Log in to your SELISE Signature account. 
  2. Click your profile picture at the top-right of the screen. 
  3. Select Signature Settings from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Open Your Saved Signature 

Once you are inside the Signature Settings page: 

  1. Find the section called Saved Signature. 
  2. Click the View button. 

This will open a popup window showing the signatures you already saved. 

Step 3: Add or Change Your Signature 

Inside the popup, you’ll see four tabs at the top:  

A) Upload a Signature (From a Picture) 

  1. Click the Upload tab. 
  2. Click Upload your signature image and select a file from your computer. 

Tip:

  • Take a photo of your handwritten signature or scan it. 
  • Make sure the background is white and the signature is clear. 
  • Only PNG images are allowed (file size up to 2 MB). 

B) Create a Signature (Draw It) 

  1. Click the Create tab. 
  2. Choose your pen color (Black, Red, Blue, or Orange). 
  3. Draw your signature using your mouse, finger, stylus, or Apple Pencil (if using an iPad). 
  4. If you want to start over, click “Clear”, otherwise click “Save changes”. 

C) Type Your Signature (Simple and Quick) 

  1. Click the Type tab. 
  2. Enter your full name. 
  3. optional: enter your job title, for example 
  4. Choose a font style and color you like. 

This option is perfect if you want a neat and fast signature! 

Step 4: Set Your Default Signature 

After you upload, create, or type a new signature: 

  1. It will be added to your Saved Signature library. 
  2. Click on the signature you want to use as your default. 

A blue check mark will appear to show it’s your active signature. 


How to Delete a Signature 

Want to remove an old or unused signature? 

  1. Hover your mouse over the signature you want to delete. 
  2. A red delete icon will appear. 
  3. Click the delete icon. 
  4. Confirm by clicking Delete in the popup window. 

Tips for Best Results

  • Use PNG format when uploading an image. 
  • Make sure your background is white or transparent. 
  • Crop around the signature to remove extra space. 
  • Avoid shadows or dark marks behind your signature. 

Remember: Changing your saved signature will only affect new documents you sign. Documents you've already signed will stay the same.
